Beautiful Photos Of New Terminal Building Of Abuja Int'l Airport Commissioned By President Buhari President Buhari commissioning new terminal building of Abuja International Airport  President Muhammadu Buhari has commissioned the new Terminal at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. The new terminal designed to handle 15 million passengers in a year is the second in the series of airport terminals commissioned from the projects funded by the China-Exim bank loan of $500m with a counterpart funding of $100m from the debt management office. From the $100m counterpart funding, the government has only paid $30. The $69.3 is expected to boost the speedy completion of the outstanding project which includes the new terminal in Kano and Lagos.                  Diamond Platinumz Banned From Performing In Tanzania And Abroad Tanzania’s government has banned the popular musician Diamond Platinumz from staging concerts and conducting any performances in and out of the country. The body that regulates art in the country, Busata, said they took the decision following Diamond’s defiance of a ban on his song, Mwanza. Mwanza, was banned by Busata, for containing lyrics that can loosely translate to ‘Hot’ and featuring dance moves that authorities considered indecent. Nigerian UK-based Lawmaker Found Guilty Of Lying To Police, To Be Sentenced With Brother Fiona to be sentenced alongside brother Former Labour whip Fiona Onasanya has been found guilty of perverting the course of justice following an Old Bailey retrial for lying to police to avoid a speeding charge. MP and former Labour whip Fiona Onasanya has been found guilty of lying to police to avoid a speeding charge. The 35-year-old solicitor was accused of colluding with her brother Festus after her car was clocked going 41mph in a 30mph zone in the village of Thorney near Peterborough, England. The MP, who was elected in June 2017 but stood down as a Labour whip last month, was found guilty of one count of perverting the course of justice following a retrial at the Old Bailey. She will be sentenced alongside her brother on a date yet to be determined. Festus, 34, from Cambridge, admitted perverting the course of justice three times to avoid speeding points.

Nigerian drowns in South Africa The Nigerian Union, South Africa (NUSA) has announced the tragic demise of Mr Udebuani Chidokweanaukwu, who drowned in that country. Chidokweanaukwu, a native of Nando in Anambra, drowned in a beach in Swellendam near Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. The Publicity Secretary of the Union, Mr Habib Miller, confirmed the accident in a statement issued to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Port Harcourt on Wednesday. “With sorrow and heavy heart, we have received the news of the death of Udebuani Chidokweanaukwu from Nando, Anambra State. “According to the information from an eye witness, Chidikweanaukwu got drowned on the beach at Swellendam on Dec. 17. “He is survived by his wife and children. NUSA sympathises with his family and friends at this difficult time of grief and pray God comfort them,” he said.                         Police Inspector’s Wife Bites Off Sergeant’s Ear In Lagos (Graphic Pic) 25-year-old Lydia Uwadiegwu, the wife of a police Inspector, has been arraigned before a Lagos Chief Magistrate’s Court, Ogba, for allegedly bitting off the ear of a female Sergeant, Blessing A. O. Umongu. Lydia was arraigned before the court presided over by Mrs. Jadesola Adeyemi Ajayi, alongside three other women, Ughaelunachi Justin a, 61, Oladimeji Seun, 30, and Chinelo Okoh, 30. They are facing charges bordering on conspiracy, aiding and abetting, assault and false information. The police alleged that all the defendants had on October 31, at Olosan Police Barrack, Mushin, Lagos, conspired among themselves to cause grievous harm on Umongu.
