Veteran Singer, Yinka Ayefele Finally Confirms Arrival Of His New Triplets

One of Nigeria's most renowned gospel singers, Yinka Ayefele and his wife have welcomed a set of triplets.   Yinka Ayefele and wife   Gospel singer and producer, Yinka Ayefele and his wife, Tope have welcomed a set of triplets into the family, PM News reports. Ayefele, owner of popular Ibadan radio station, Fresh 105.9 FM, confirmed that the set of triplets, two boys and a girl, were giving birth to in the United States. The music maestro was said to have broken the news on Tuesday during his live programme, “Let’s Talk About It.” This is the programme he co-anchored with Enitan Olusegun Bamidele on his Fresh 105.9 FM. David Ajiboye, the media aide to Yinka Ayefele,  confirmed that the wife, Mrs Tope Ayefele, recently gave birth to the triplets in Maryland, US. Manchester Arena attack: Bomber's brother faces murder charges

The younger brother of Manchester Arena bomber Salman Abedi is to appear in court charged with murdering the 22 victims of the attack, police say. Hashem Abedi, 22, was detained in Libya shortly after the May 2017 suicide bombing in which hundreds were injured. He was extradited earlier, and arrested by British officers upon his arrival in the UK, Greater Manchester Police said. Mr Abedi is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court "in due course", the force said. Mason Greenwood is in contention to start for Manchester United on the opening day of the Premier League season, says boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. PDP, Atiku Presents Five Additional Witnesses At Tribunal

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the February 2019 Presidential Election, Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday presented five additional witnesses at the presidential election petitions tribunal. The witnesses claimed that results in the election were unjustifiably cancelled in some wards and polling units in Karu and Doma Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State. The witnesses who served as Polling Unit and Ward Agents allege that results were cancelled in areas where the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won the election. R Kelly denied bail as prosecutor says singer ‘still a danger to young girls’

A judge in the US has ordered R Kelly to remain behind bars without bail after a prosecutor claimed the singer would still pose a danger to young girls if he was set free. Speaking in court on Tuesday, assistant US attorney Angel Krull told district judge Harry Leinenweber: “If he was attracted to middle school girls in 1999 then he’s still attracted to middle school girls. “That’s who the defendant is and that, your honour, makes him a danger today. “Electronic monitoring can’t stop obstruction of justice, witness tampering.” She added: “He can entice victims to his own home.” Mr Leinenweber said Kelly would have to prove that he was not a danger to the public under federal law, and that Kelly’s lawyer had failed to do this. The R&B singer was arrested in Chicago last week while out walking his dog, and faces a number of sex-related charges in the city, and in New York – which he denies. Source:

Reps Ask IGP To Shut Down Edo Assembly

The House of Representatives has asked the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Yusuf Bichi, to shut down the Edo State House of Assembly. This followed the adoption of a report of the House ad-hoc committee set up to investigate the crisis rocking the state Assembly on Wednesday. On July 9, members of the lower chamber of the National Assembly considered a motion seeking to take over the functions of the Edo Assembly, in line with the Constitution. They had also constituted a committee led by Abdurazak Namdas to investigate the crisis and recommend actions to be taken by the House. Shortly after considering the report of the panel on Wednesday, the lawmakers adopted it and asked the heads of the police and DSS to seal the Edo State House of Assembly. These are the first pictures of the 'bullied' 14-year-old schoolboy who died after 'lying down on the tracks' in front of a rush-hour train as 50 classmates watched in horror.  Tributes have been left for Sam Connor who was killed after being hit by the train at Chertsey railway station, in Surrey, on Monday afternoon. One devastated friend said he was a 'bright and popular' pupil at Salesian School - a Roman Catholic comprehensive in Chertsey. They added that he was one of the 'nicest and charming' boys who took part in his local breakdancing class.  A dozen floral tributes have been left at the station today tied up to the railings with messages of love and support including: 'So sorry that life wasn't kinder to you sweetheart.
