      El-Zakzaky The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheik Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, on Monday, blamed the United States for the terrorism in the Middle East. In a statement he personally signed, El-Zakzaky said he arrived at the conclusion following the killing of an Iranian general, Qaseem Soleimani, which the US took responsibility for. He stated that the killing of Soleimani, which happened on January 3, 2020, only immortalised the general and the struggle which he gave his life for.      Omoyele Sowore  The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, has described the endorsement of his counterpart in the Labour Party, Peter Obi, by former president Olusegun Obasanjo as an “endorsement of failure.” The   endorsement of Obi by Obasanjo  on Sunday sparked reactions across rival political camps, with the All Progressives Congress describing it as a ‘worthless’ political move, adding that it would not affect the ambition of its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu. The Deputy Director, Public Affairs of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Kehinde Bamigbetan, and his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Cuncil, Anthony Ehilebo, have said that the endorsement of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has no electoral value.   The APC and PDP chieftains made this known in an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily programme on Monday morning, monitored by our correspondent.
