Obasanjo made the clarification in a statement today by his media aide, Kehinde Akinyemi saying, “It is disingenuous, if not malicious, for anyone to suggest that Chief Obasanjo was being neutral when he chose not to use the Owu Convention as a platform for political campaign but instead adopt a communal and familial approach in talking to members of his Owu family”. SERAP Sues Buhari For Failure To Order Ganduje’s Probe SERAP has sued Buhari over failure to order Ganduje's probe, following bribery allegations against the Kano State Governor sparked off from alleged bribery videos released few weeks ago. According to the anti-corruption advocacy group, Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, though the alleged bribery directly concerned Kano State, the Federal Government could not afford to look away. SERAP who sued Buhari for failure to order Ganduje’s probe, also urged the Nigerian President to use his good offices to direct either the Attorney General of the Federation or anti-graft agencies to probe the bribery allegations against Ganduje.
