Daily Trust: HURIWA advises army on arrested journalists A pro-democracy and Non-Governmental Organization, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, has reacted to the raid on the premises of Daily Trust Newspaper in Maiduguri, Borno State and Abuja by men of the Nigerian Army. The virus causes fever, weakness, muscle pain and seizures, and is frequently fatal. Pressure In Sudan As 800 Protesters Are Arrested In Pro-Bashir Rally [Channels TV] More than 800 protesters have been arrested in anti-government demonstrations held across Sudan since last month, a minister said Monday, as hundreds gathered at a rally backing President Omar al-Bashir. NNPC generates N383.969m revenue from WRPC, PHRC in 9 months By Ediri Ejoh The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has generated a revenue of about N383.969 million from the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited, WRPC and Port-Harcourt Refining Company Limited, PHRC between January and September, 2018. In its recent financial report, the Corporation attributed the development to the ongoing revamping of the refineries, expected to further enhance the capacity utilisation of the plants. It stated: “WPRC generated N9.21 million, N9.6 mn, N36.9mn, N6.68mn, N39.55mn, N23.25, N13.45mn, N8.67mn and N66.18 million, which totals N213.49 million, between January and September, 2018.
