Video shows a pastor washing his legs on the head of his membersA video trending on social media shows a pastor washing his legs on the head of his members while letting the water drip over them to “anoint” them. In the video, a long line of members can be seen waiting their turn. Each member kneels when they get to the pastor and he places his foot on their head while someone pours water on the foot. As the pastor washes his foot, the water drips over the members and they use it in washing themselves. Sometimes, the pastor also washes his face and lets the water wash over his members. Social media users are appalled and are calling out fake pastors for “bastardizing Christianity”. Image
File: Rivers Statè Governor, Nyesom Wike The Peoples Democratic Party has said that Thursday’s concluding judgment by the Supreme Court, which categorically ended the APC’s bid to overturn the governorship, national and state assembly elections in Rivers, has finally vindicated the PDP, Governor Nyesom Wike and the people of the state. In a statement by its spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDP noted that the Supreme Court’s judgment has brought respite to Nigerians. “The resoluteness of the Supreme Court in upholding justice and resisting manipulations by APC leaders to revisit the issue of APC flawed primaries in the state, which were lawfully annulled by the lower courts, has brought respite to Nigerians and further restored their confidence in the institution of the judiciary.
