Boko Haram: Police deploy 2000 operatives to North East By Mod -  [ Update ] The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris kpotun has deployed additional 2000 Police Mobile Force, PMF, and Counter Terrorism Units, CTU, Personnel of the Force and the Sniffer Dog sections to the North East to fight Boko Haram insurgency, under the operation Lafiya Dole. This new deployment was said to be consistent with Section 4 of the Police Act and Regulations which specifies the general duties of the Nigeria Police Force. FPRO Jimoh Moshood in a statement said the deployment was made to support the strength of the military to defeat the dreaded insurgents. Moshood added, “Before now, the Nigeria Police Force has on ground 47 PMF Units (63 X 47 = 2961) in Borno State in addition to the Police Mobile Force (PMF) Squadron in Borno State. “26 Units (63 X 26 = 1638) on ground in Yobe State in addition to the Police Mobile Force (PMF) Squadron in Yobe State. “18

Osinbajo accused of causing confusion in Niger Delta By Mod - [ Update ]  PAN-Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, has accused the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbjo of causing confusion in the Niger Delta region. The group said Osinbajo hays created confusion with his purported abandonment of the Strategic Implementation Work Plan, SWIP, for development of the region. The group’s delegation led by His Royal Majesty, Diette Spiff and King Jaja of Opobo, stated this in an interactive session with the Senate and House of Representatives Committees on Niger Delta at Abuja. In a statement made available to reporters after the interactive session, PANDEF suggested a communication gap between them and Osinbajo. After approval from UEFA’s Executive Committee in Dublin, the Europa League will be cut from its current 48-team group stage so that all three competitions feature 32 teams in eight groups of four. All Occupants Come Out Alive As 2 Cars Fall Off A Bridge And Land In A Bush (Photos) By Mod - Update ]  One of the vehicles It was nothing short of a miracle that happened recently when all the occupants of two vehicles emerged alive when thevehicles fell off a bridge. The cars fell off the bridge and landed inside a thick bush below however all the passengers were lucky to come out alive and unhurt. Bukunmi, a photographer, was one of the occupants in one of the cars and he shared photos from the accident scene. He wrote: "Who says God doesn't answer prayer?
