'This is daylight robbery' - Nigerian man laments over the amount of things his friend presented to his bride's family for introduction in Imo State

A Nigerian man identified as MC Emmydon took to his Facebook page to complain about the amount of things his friend who recently got married to a lady from Imo state, presented to the bride's family for their marriage introduction.

Sharing photos which show various sets of wrapper, bag of rice, bottles of wines, non-alcoholic drinks among others things as requested in the requirement list for their wedding introduction, Emmydon wrote;

This happened yesterday where I followed my friend to do a marriage introduction in IMO state.this is daylight robbery.





 Meanwhile some Facebook users see nothing wrong with the requiment list while others opined that the items are too much. See comments below.

The League of Patriotic Lawyers has given Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olusegun Odumosu, 24 hours to unravel those behind the torture and insertion of pepper into a girl’s private part in Benin City over alleged stealing of a mobile phone.  Chairman of the platform and former Student Union President of the University of Benin, Mr. Abubakar Yesufu, who said this in a statement yesterday, also urged the state Director, Department of State Services, DSS, to be involved in the investigation. A video of the incident, seen by Vanguard yesterday, showed the girl being stripped naked by a group of people, who inserted pepper into her private parts for allegedly stealing a phone.
