Nigerian actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has said she’s next to win an Oscar award.

The 91st Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday and, after taking part as a voting member of the Academy, she announced her aspiration after realising many of the nominees she voted for won in their categories.

The actress had voted Mahershala Ali, who won the Best Actor in a Supporting role; Hannah Beachler, who won Production design for ‘Black Panther’ and Lady Gaga for Shallow in the Original Song category.

She wrote on Instagram, “Congratulations @mahershalaali , #hannahbeachler and @alfonsocuaron . What a Beautiful show! So quite A good number of my voted Won! I screamed so hard … I think I’ve lost my voice! I Really love this Voting / Judging kinda work ! Who remembers how accurate my predictions on #Nigerianidols used to be, they started calling me the 5th judge? I hope I get more Gigs of this kind…

Update On Slay Queen Who Was Stripped Naked And Tortured Over Missing Phone.

The League of Patriotic Lawyers has given Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olusegun Odumosu, 24 hours to unravel those behind the torture and insertion of pepper into a girl’s private part in Benin City over alleged stealing of a mobile phone.  Chairman of the platform and former Student Union President of the University of Benin, Mr. Abubakar Yesufu, who said this in a statement yesterday, also urged the state Director, Department of State Services, DSS, to be involved in the investigation. A video of the incident, seen by Vanguard yesterday, showed the girl being stripped naked by a group of people, who inserted pepper into her private parts for allegedly stealing a phone. The unidentified girl was heard crying and saying she didn’t steal any phone, while she was being humiliated by the crowd.
