Nigerian-American Chamber to lead trade mission to Silicon Valley

The Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce, NACC, said it is set to embark on a 5-day trade mission to Silicon Valley in the USA themed, ‘Turning Promises to Action’, from   April 28th – 3rd May, 2019.

In a statement, Communications Executive, NACC, Mr. Ebuka Ugochukwu, said the trade mission is in keeping with an annual commitment of the Chamber in promoting the development of trade, commerce, investment and industrial technological relationships between the public and private sectors of Nigeria and the United States to further drive socio-economic growth and development

He stated: “The 5-day period will see delegates hosted by the Silicon Valley Nigeria Economic Development Inc,   meetings with Silicon Valley Top Executives, Angel Investors and Venture Capitalist in Information Technology; Silicon Valley Organizations (Chambers of Commerce; Silicon Valley Tech Companies; the Mayor of San Jose amongst others. This is a time when delegates leverage on the Chamber’s initiative to meet new International buyers and distributors, expand into new markets, exchange market knowledge, network, gain insight from industry experts and promote their business across border further generating new business for their companies.”

According to him, the trade mission will attract businesses in Information Technology, Banking, Agric Tech, Cloud technology solutions, Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Blockchain, Smart Contracts, amongst others.
