Kylian Mbappe says the only interest he has in Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid overhaul is as an observer.

The Frenchman says he is staying at Paris Saint-Germain - and won't be leaving this summer.

It was a good day for fans as the club finally sealed the French championship after blowing the chance three times.

The 20-year-old scored a hat-trick against former club Manaco on Sunday.

Now Mbappe has confirmed his future lies in Paris.

"I am here, I am in the project," Mbappe said on Canal Plus.

"It's good for Real Madrid if there is Zizou, but I will watch merely as an admirer."

His dad Wilfried Mbappe slammed the constant speculation as "embarrassing" last week.

He told French newspaper Le Parisien : "Before I read and watched everything, but not any more.

"It's like a chocolate cake, if you eat too much, then you get an upset stomach. Sometimes, there's misinformation too.

"OK, Kylian is a public person, but I do not understand that there are everyday things about him. It's embarrassing.

"I am no longer able to do things that were done every day. Sometimes we need peace. Today, everyone knows this name."

Fans were concerned by the player's outspoken comments after defeat to Lille.

"We must play with more personality," the World Cup winner said.

The League of Patriotic Lawyers has given Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olusegun Odumosu, 24 hours to unravel those behind the torture and insertion of pepper into a girl’s private part in Benin City over alleged stealing of a mobile phone.  Chairman of the platform and former Student Union President of the University of Benin, Mr. Abubakar Yesufu, who said this in a statement yesterday, also urged the state Director, Department of State Services, DSS, to be involved in the investigation. A video of the incident, seen by Vanguard yesterday, showed the girl being stripped naked by a group of people, who inserted pepper into her private parts for allegedly stealing a phone.
