Buhari in no show at inauguration dinner and gala night
President Muhammadu Buhari who will jet out to Saudi Arabia for the OIC summit  Thursday was absent Wednesday night at his inauguration dinner.
Guests who were already seated at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Abuja were expecting him at 8pm to kick off the dinner.
But 30 minutes after, his Vice President Yemi Osinbajo came in with his wife, Dolapo, along with Boss Mustapha, the secretary of the Government of the Federation.

The National Anthem was played in full, signalling the beginning of the event organized by the office of the OSGF.
Among the guests at the occasion were former leader, Yakubu Gowon, APC Chairman Adams Oshiomhole, ambassadors from countries such as China.
The dinner featured performances by various artistes. A photobook, ‘Being Buhari’ will be unveiled during the dinner. The chairman  of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole is expected to give a toast to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Update On Slay Queen Who Was Stripped Naked And Tortured Over Missing Phone.

The League of Patriotic Lawyers has given Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olusegun Odumosu, 24 hours to unravel those behind the torture and insertion of pepper into a girl’s private part in Benin City over alleged stealing of a mobile phone.  Chairman of the platform and former Student Union President of the University of Benin, Mr. Abubakar Yesufu, who said this in a statement yesterday, also urged the state Director, Department of State Services, DSS, to be involved in the investigation. A video of the incident, seen by Vanguard yesterday, showed the girl being stripped naked by a group of people, who inserted pepper into her private parts for allegedly stealing a phone. The unidentified girl was heard crying and saying she didn’t steal any phone, while she was being humiliated by the crowd.
