Neymar turned up to PSG training on Monday, but also said he wants to leave
Neymar is currently recovering from an ankle injury, which ruled him out of the Copa America
Neymar left Barcelona for a world record deal of £198m two years ago, but wants to make a return.
The Brazilian star controversially failed to show up for the team's pre-season start on time last week, but finally reported to training on Monday.
However, he also reportedly spent the day talking with PSG sporting director Leonardo about his future.
The 27-year-old missed the entirety of Brazil's Copa America-winning campaign due to an ankle injury, but is finally back to work ahead of the new season.
The controversy deepened on Monday as an interview Neymar recorded with Brazilian network Band was stolen, according to Goal.
The interview was supposed to be about his future at PSG, however it now seems unlikely to see the light of day.
Sky Sports reports that PSG have tried to convince the forward to change his mind about leaving and that Neymar did not reveal where he would like to go during the talks.
Barcelona has been a high profile target, although their £108million signing of Antoine Griezmann makes a deal less likely.
Leonardo admitted earlier in the week that there had been initial contact with Barcelona about a sensational move, but also said they didn't appear to be in a position to afford him.
The Catalans admitted they had to take out a £31.5m loan to sign the Frenchman. It is thought they would have to include players as part of a deal for Neymar.
