The signing will be an impressive coup for the Gunners hierarchy given Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Napoli have all been credited with an interest.

He will form part of what will be a hugely exciting attacking force for Arsenal fans, consisting of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Pepe himself.   

Aubameyang and Lacazette scored 50 goals between them last season and Pepe will add to manager Unai Emery's firepower.
Nicolas Pepe is on the brink of sealing his sensational £72million transfer to Arsenal from Lille after a video emerged online of him donning his new colours.

Arsenal are set to announce their club-record transfer of the Ivory Coast international imminently as they continue to splash the cash before the start of the 2019-20 Premier League season.

And on Tuesday evening, a leaked video emerged on social media of Pepe wearing the new adidas home strip while he pats the Arsenal badge
He was second only to PSG's Kylian Mbappe in the Ligue 1 scoring charts last season, registering 22 goals and 11 assists as Lille finished second.

The 24-year-old is set to become the north London outfit's fourth signing of the summer, joining Dani Ceballos (loan), William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli.

The pacey and powerful winger touched down in London early on Tuesday morning for his medical and is expected to sign off on a five-year deal with the Gunners.

Pepe showed up at the club's London Colney training complex for the medical already with a bag in his hand emblazoned with the Arsenal badge and stuffed full of club merchandise.

He then went on a tour around north London, the area he will shortly be calling home. 

According to Sportsmail earlier this week, Arsenal will be given an extraordinary five years to pay the £72m fee, paying the French club just £20m up front in order to keep within their budget.

The League of Patriotic Lawyers has given Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olusegun Odumosu, 24 hours to unravel those behind the torture and insertion of pepper into a girl’s private part in Benin City over alleged stealing of a mobile phone.  Chairman of the platform and former Student Union President of the University of Benin, Mr. Abubakar Yesufu, who said this in a statement yesterday, also urged the state Director, Department of State Services, DSS, to be involved in the investigation.
