Football Fans Hang Sex Doll With Former Player’s Name On It From The Stands.

Football fans of Belgian side Genk hanged a sex doll bearing an ex-player’s name with a noose around its neck – then ran it over with a cardboard train.



The disgusting scenes took place during the Belgian league leader’s 3-3 draw against Zulte Waregem yesterday.

An inflatable sex doll was smuggled into the stadium, depicting former midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo with his name and number 24 on the back of a blue shirt.

Pozuelo, 27, was captain of the Belgian side and was considered a fan favourite. But he left the club to join MLS outfit Toronto FC earlier on March 4 and Genk fans were furious.

That is because just two months earlier he stated he wanted to stay with the Belgian side.

He previously said: “My wife supported me, saying that I should stay here and that I needed to help the club win the championship.”

Pozuelo was scheduled to play in the match against Zulte Waregem as a farewell to Genk but he reportedly decided to travel to Spain to help support his ill grandfather.



So a group of Genk fans decided to create the doll and tie the noose around its neck.

To make the vile scene worse, they also created a cut-out figure of a train which they moved along a pole – across a train track – towards the Pozuelo doll, pretending to run him over with it.

Stewards did eventually remove the doll but it is unclear if Genk will face sanctions over their fans’ behaviour.

The League of Patriotic Lawyers has given Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olusegun Odumosu, 24 hours to unravel those behind the torture and insertion of pepper into a girl’s private part in Benin City over alleged stealing of a mobile phone.  Chairman of the platform and former Student Union President of the University of Benin, Mr. Abubakar Yesufu, who said this in a statement yesterday, also urged the state Director, Department of State Services, DSS, to be involved in the investigation.
