Chris Attoh’s Wife Murdered In America
Bettie Jenifer, the wife of Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh, is dead.
The tragic incident which has the markings of an assassination took place on Friday the 10th. According to reports gathered, she was shot dead while leaving her office in Maryland in the United States of America.
Washington DC-based TV network, NBC, reports that she was shot in the head by a gunman on Friday evening around 5 pm and was pronounced dead when police arrived at the scene of the crime.
Report states she left the office in the 6300 block of Ivy Lane and was walking to her car when a man armed with a handgun approached her.
When she tried to run away, the man followed her and fired at her multiple times, with at least one shot hitting her.
The Maryland Police have declared the killer wanted, describing him as “a black male with a thick build and black hair, wearing a dark shirt and pants.”
Although no suspect has been named, new reports from the Greenbelt Police Department has shown that Bettie Jenifer was married to two men, one of whom is known as Kendrick, a notorious drug lord currently serving a 20-year jail term.
According to GhanaWeb reports;
“Bettie was still legally married to 47-year-old Kedrick, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for importing large amounts of cocaine into Baltimore from Texas. Kedrick ran a drug trafficking organization that distributed at least 450kg of cocaine in Baltimore and Woodbridge, Virginia.
Last year, we shared the exciting remarriage of Chris Attoh to Bettie Jenifer after his divorce from Damilola Adegbite. However, the actor sparked speculations last week on social media that all was not well with his second marriage after he deleted all of Bettie’s pictures from his social media pages.
May her soul rest in peace.
