Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has taken aim at forward Neymar by saying 'nobody forced him to sign' for the club.

The Brazil star joined the Ligue 1 outfit from Barcelona for £198million back in 2017 but has been linked with a move back to Spain during the summer transfer window.

Al-Khelaifi, who took over PSG eight years ago, has taken a swipe at the world's most expensive player with his future at the club uncertain.

'I want players willing to give everything to defend the honour of the jersey and to join the club project,' he said in an interview with France Football.

'Those who do not want, or do not understand, we see each other and we talk to each other.

'There are of course contracts to be respected, but the priority now is total membership of our project.

'Nobody forced him to sign here. Nobody pushed him. He came knowingly to join a project.'

According to L'Equipe on Sunday, PSG will be happy to accept 'a large offer' for Neymar, who reportedly believes his future lies away from the Parc des Princes.

The 27-year-old forward, whose deal with the Ligue 1 champions runs until the summer of 2022, has been linked with a return to Barcelona and a move to Real Madrid as part of manager Zinedine Zidane's summer overhaul.

The League of Patriotic Lawyers has given Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olusegun Odumosu, 24 hours to unravel those behind the torture and insertion of pepper into a girl’s private part in Benin City over alleged stealing of a mobile phone.  Chairman of the platform and former Student Union President of the University of Benin, Mr. Abubakar Yesufu, who said this in a statement yesterday, also urged the state Director, Department of State Services, DSS, to be involved in the investigation.
