Nigeria Decides: What Dele momodu said as Saraki loses seat to APC

Media Mogul, Dele Momodu, has reacted as the Senate President, Bukola Saraki lost his bid for re-election into the Senate.

DAILY POST had reported that Saraki lost to Dr Yahaya Oloriegbe of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Saturday’s Senatorial election

Oloriegbe polled a total of 123, 808 votes to defeat the Senate President who scored 68, 994 votes in the four local governments of Kwara Central Senatorial District.

But reacting, Dele Momodu in a tweet, appreciated Saraki for fighting for democracy.

He said , “My dear Oloye, DR ABUBAKAR BUKOLA SARAKI, I appreciate the battles you fought for Democracy. But for you, and a few others, Nigeria would have been sentenced to a full-blown dictatorship. Because you stood, like the Rock of Gibraltar, elections and politics became full-scale war!”
